Top 5 Ways To Pimp Your Profile

Whether you are an online dating veteran or someone new to the scene, you can benefit from creating a better profile. You’ll get asked out more and have a better chance of meeting someone, when your profile stands out.
1. You, you, you – Your profile should be about you. It shouldn’t be about what you want in a partner. If you only date blondes, people of a certain religion, vegetarians, hippies, yuppies, whatever – then mention it, but leave out the general stuff.
2. Vocabulary - Hi, I’m a 25/f and I’m nice, fun, sweet, and totally dull? Use words that really describe you – visual, energetic, sporty, well traveled, stubborn, restless, intuitive. Now those are some words, baby.
3. Be real – Pick out some great photos, but choose ones that really show you, as you are now – not 20 pounds ago. The pressure will be off when you meet someone who knows what you look like, rather than trying to hide a bald spot or love handles for an entire date.
4. Be honest – If you aren’t into a casual fling, then don’t advertise that you are on your profile. You don’t have to say you want to get married tomorrow, but try to be genuine about your dating intentions.
5. Be You – Highlight what makes you special and unique. Think abut quirky stories or adventures that really show a side of you that you can’t show with a quote, word, or photo. Pop off the page and into someone’s imagination.
Follow those tips and your profile will be something worth drooling over.
