Another site I often recommend, especially for people new to a town or city, is Friendfinder.com. Friendfinder.com is one of the biggest online dating sites out there, so you should be able to find a girl or a guy on it that you like. You can check as much as you want for free, it’s only when you want to get in touch with someone that you need to subscribe. Friendfinder.com is the best online dating site I could recommend if you are young, unattached and new in town, keen to meet up with some other lonely people – many people are on friendfinder.com just for friendship. You don’t get such a scientific approach on Friendfinder.com but you do get good geographical coverage. The subscription rate is around about the same $25 to $30 per month.

My third choice is Perfectmatch.com. This is an online dating site rather like chemistry.com, that finds you the perfect match through a fairly in-depth personality test designed by well known ‘Finding the perfect match’ author Dr. Pepper Schwartz. Everyone has to take the test in order to be a member, so those that stick with it are apt to put in the effort and the thinking required. This should result in finding someone as committed to finding the perfect match as you – and that’s what the best online dating site should strive for. Again, subscription is $25 to $30 per month.
