Perfectmatch.com is a very good site for people who take a more serious approach to online dating.  As I explained in my “about me” section, I hate websites that waste my time or don’t allow me to find what I’m looking for when it comes to meeting people online. That’s why I’ve selected Perfectmatch.com as the winner of the best paid signup category. The reason this is my favorite “for profit” dating website is because of how a profile is set up on this site. In order to set up your perfectmatch.com profile – you take a sort of test set up by a psychologist, Dr.  Pepper Schwartz. She devoted her whole life to finding the elements that create successful relationships. According to her, they are personality, lifestyle, values and preferences. But that’s beside the point. Since everyone who sets up a profile must take this 10 minute test, it tends to filter out people who are not serious about meeting a suitable partner. After you fill out your profile by taking that test, the system will automatically match you with people that are similar to you or complement you.  Since the system automatically delivers potential matches to you everyday based on more than 75 factors – there is no need to spend hours searching through people’s profiles for that “perfect one”.

The one thing I don’t love about perfectmatch.com is that where I live, there aren’t too many great men signed up.  This can be a problem for me on some sites, because I don’t live in a major city.  Even though this site is not a perfect match for me where I live, most of my friends have been successful on it.

As far as payment goes, Perfectmatch.com has different payment plans, but like most dating websites, a monthly subscription will run about $25-30.
